I had a hard time remembering my password to blogger, but here is my proposal a little late....

After reviewing the requirements for our next assignment, the long analytical report, I am tentatively planning on doing a comparative analysis. I actually really like the example of where to relocate after graduation. I would like to look into either California or Nevada for sure, and possibly some other locations as well.

The areas that I will compare to decide will be cost of living, weather, and job availability. I want to consider job pay, if the location is a tourist area, if it is good for raising children and a family. I want to know the threats of the land, the problems with its economy, and the cost of taxes. I will need to research what there is to consider when living somewhere.

I want to consider where my boyfriend wants to relocate as well. He is going into professional golf management and will do better in his career in a warm, sunny place where golf can be played year round and he can do well.

I also want to consider where my parents want to retire. They will need to be my children’s babysitter. And I love my mommy.

Proposal

I propose to give a report on the importance of play in early childhood education. What is the cause of play bing an important part of learning in early childhood education? Not sure if it's correct to word it like this or not. I need some help with this. Nonetheless, so often there are parents who feel like play is not an important part of their child's learning. I would like to research this and give evidence as why this is important and how it really helps the child.

Sex Offenders

I want to do my paper on sex offenders and new different options that we could do for their punishment. The sex offenders registers list is a newer addition to how we handle sex offenders, but just like any new thing it has a lot of good things about it as well as the bad. I want to look into new ways that we can handle our sex offenders, different programs, rehabilitation, actions, etc. I want to find out about these new ways and ideas and look into which one would be the most realistic as well as beneficial that would work for the system, the offender, as well as have society's approval. The reason I want to do my paper on this is because I am a Criminal Justice major and will be graduating soon and looking for a job in the fall. Sex offenders are a big part of the system and until I can follow my dream of being in the FBI I want to work in child exploitation or something along those lines. I will be working with these kinds of offenders and I want to know all the information about this that is out there and be knowledgeable about the changes that may be taking place when I am entering the field.

Proposal

For my paper I would like to look at long distant relationship. I'm choosing this topic because I have never been in a long distance relationship and in a few months my fiance and I will be apart. I want to study whether or not long distance relationships are healthy and if they are doable. There are tons of rumors about them not lasting because you don't spend as much time together and so on. I know people who have been in long distance relationships and they never seem to be together for that long after the move. Why? I don't know but I hope to get imformation about it.

I hope this topic is going to get me good information if not them I will have to change to something different.

I would like to look at the feasability of my graduating with my BSN in Spring 2010. My credit load with tentative schedule for completion in Spring 2010, work load and family commitments will be presented. Pros and cons of attaining my BSN will be looked at including five and ten year goals. Financial considerations will be looked at including cost of completing on time, reimbursement options through work, change in work schedule to complete on time and overall change in income including benefit changes.
The reason that I would like to look at this topic, is because I am struggling with work, school, and family balance and I am wondering if it is all worth it. I really need to consider my motivations for obtaining my BSN and the overall costs to my personal/ professional life, and the benefits to my personal/professional life.
I think that by performing this assignment I will work through the process on paper and truly analyze this from all angles honestly. By putting this into a report, I feel that I will be more objective versus emotional. Hopefully it will help other readers to see the process on paper as well.

Inter-Racial Love

What is the main cause of conflict for inter-racial marriages? I am interested in the subject because I am entering an inter-racial marriage in a few months. I have seen marriages fail from the challenges that arise between same race couples. I am very aware that couples have conflicts over finances, sex, child rearing, and even religion. Although, these couples share the same culture background their marriages have ended in divorce. In addition to these challenges, I have often heard that inter-racial marriages experience unique conflicts in addition to the common conflicts in same race marriages. Although I am not afraid to experience or face these challenges I would like to be aware of them prior to being confronted with them. I believe this would cause me to be better equipped to address the situations when they arise. I expect this research will allow me to discover challenges I did not consider.
